Jay Z & Beyonce Drop Surprise “The Carter 7” Album

In the wake of massive industry superpowers announcing the premier of Tidal Music Streaming service, one other monumental debut occurred. Sean “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles-Carter hosted a secret listening party for the long-awaited debut of their joint album The Carter 7. Upon entrance you had to be wearing a ‘Duck Dynasty’ beard as the secret disguise to get past security guard Rick Rubin. Young Thug obviously beat them to the punch of being “Live from the Carter 6,” but lucky number 7 seems befitting for such a magnanimous project. We first heard Jay and Bey collab for “Crazy In Love” in 2003 which has been royally ranked as the “Number One Song of the 2000s” by VH1, so this neatly packaged surprise is sure to get the Bey Hive buzzing and make the hustlers that are still livin’ to get on down. Music: Jay Electronica “Road To Predition” ft. JAY Z

At this point who really knows if Jay Elect even has this Act II album even done. I’m sure the boss man knows the answer, even if fans remain in the dark with the elusive rapper. What we do get today is new music from said rapper. With no more than some trademark ad libs from Hov and Nas’ “Success” to serve as a “feature.” Maybe the legendary rapper was too busy to actually lay down vocals, or maybe he’s just lost interest.
